Understanding Discover Stored Token Services

Discover® Digital Exchange (DDX) tokenization solutions include Store Payment Tokens and Cloud Wallet Tokens, which exchange a customer’s primary account numbers (PAN) for secure tokens. Using tokens instead of PANs can help prevent unauthorized transactions and ensure a secure digital payment experience.

Stored Payment Tokens

These unique tokens are tied to a specific merchant for recurring or stored payments. While the merchant knows the cardholder, they never have access to their sensitive data.
